Homer: Alnwick to stay at Tottenham Tottenham goalkeeper Ben Alnwick will stay with the club after refusing a move back to loan club Carlisle. It is believed the Spurs shot-stopper wants to challenge current custodian Heurelho Gomes after he has come under recent criticism. “The coaching and management staff at Tottenham want to take a closer look at him, and it may open up an opportunity for him with them," said Carlisle boss Greg Abbott.
